A place where everyone is valued and respected, where barriers are challenged to enable children and young people to engage with their community, form positive relationships, and become resilient and confident individuals.
InPALS is a newly established out-of-school club located in Almondbury, Huddersfield, with a fresh vision. Our objective is to offer a friendly, safe, secure, and relaxed environment for children and young people aged 4 – 19 years of age, who may require additional support to fully access a group setting and allow them to be themselves.
We provide a variety of activities and opportunities tailored to the interests and needs of the children and young people in our care. Our services include assisting with the development of social skills, managing anxiety, implementing alternative communication methods, addressing personal care, administering medication, and meeting feeding requirements.

To establish a community where all children and young people have the freedom to play and are valued for their individuality.
In – Inclusive
To provide a provision where parents and carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) know that their child will be cared for in a safe and friendly environment. Where the planning, activities and opportunities are person-centred to meet each child’s individual needs and requirements.
P – Play
At InPALS, we understand and recognise the benefits and entitlement of children and young people to engage in play, leisure, and recreational activities. Our objective is to offer your child new opportunities to participate in group-based play and leisure activities with their friends and peers, which they might otherwise not have access to.
A – Adventure
Our aim is to offer a safe environment where children and young people can experience new activities, challenge their own limits, and manage risk through engaging in enjoyable and personally challenging tasks. These activities are designed to build self-esteem, confidence, and resilience, helping them to understand themselves better.
L – Learning
At InPALS, we recognise that children and young people are continually learning through all their activities. We are dedicated to fostering this development and broadening their horizons, with a strong emphasis on enhancing social skills, improving communication, and understanding themselves and their roles within both the community and society.
